Magpul PMAG 30 AR/M4 GEN M3 Window

The next-generation PMAG 30 GEN M3 Window is a 30-round 5.56×45 NATO (.223 Remington) polymer magazine for AR15/M4-compatible weapons that features transparent windows that allow for quick visual identification of the approximate number of rounds remaining. In addition to enhanced features and compatibility, the GEN M3 Window incorporates new material technologies and manufacturing processes for improved strength, durability and reliability to exceed stringent military performance specifications.

While the GEN M3 is optimized for Colt-specific AR15/M4 platforms, the modified internal and external geometry also enables operation with a number of other weapons such as the HK® 416/MR556A1/M27 IAR, the British SA-80, the FN® SCAR MK 16/16S and others.
Similar to the MOE® PMAG, the GEN M3 Window features a durable USGl specification stainless steel spring, a four-way anti-tilt breech and constant curvature internal geometry for reliable feeding and easy, tool-less disassembly that facilitates cleaning.

In addition, a redesigned slide stop notch in the rear of the magazine provides more clearance for the slide stop, while an overtravel stop on the back of the magazine ensures that the magazine cannot be drawn in too far with compatible weapons. Low profile ribs and new aggressive texturing on the front and rear ensure the GEN M3 controls well in all environments, and a dot matrix with paint pen has been added to the underside of the receiver for easy end-user marking for identification.

The new, easy to disassemble, flared floorplate facilitates magazine extraction and handling while providing improved drop protection, but is slightly slimmer than before for better compatibility with tight double and triple magazine pouches. An included pop-off impact/dust cover can optionally be used to minimize foreign object intrusion and protect the top cartridge from potential damage during storage and transport.

Long-lasting dual-sided transparent windows allow for quick determination of the approximate number of cartridges remaining in the magazine. By utilizing a highly visible indicator coil on the spring and numerical markings on the magazine body, the MagLevel® system provides safe verification without compromising the magazine's durability or reliability.
