Magpul PMAG 20 AR/M4 GEN M3 Magazine

The next generation PMAG 20 AR/M4 GEN M3 is a 20-round polymer magazine for AR15/M4 compatible weapons in 5.56×45 NATO / .223 Remington caliber. In addition to enhanced features and compatibility, the GEN M3 incorporates new material technologies and manufacturing processes for improved strength, durability and reliability that exceed stringent military performance specifications.

The GEN M3 features a durable stainless steel spring, four-way anti-tilt breech and constant curvature internal geometry for reliable feeding and simple, tool-less disassembly for easy cleaning.

The PMAG 20 GEN M3 also features a redesigned bolt catch notch in the rear of the magazine, which increases the clearance for the bolt catch, while an overtravel stop on the magazine spine ensures that the magazine does not dip too far with compatible weapons. Low profile ribs and a new, aggressive texture on the front and rear provide good control of the GEN M3 in all environments.

The base plate of the receiver has been provided with a dot matrix that allows easy marking for identification. The new, easy to disassemble, flared base plate makes the magazine easier to pull out and handle while providing improved drop protection, but is slightly slimmer than before for better compatibility with tight double and triple magazine pouches. An included pop-off impact/dust cover can be optionally used to minimize debris intrusion and protect the upper cartridge from potential damage during storage and transport.
